Janie Elizabeth Eidson

Janie was born on June 23, 1960 in Cartersville, GA, daughter of the late George McDonald and Martha Walker McDonald. Janie spent several years in property management and the last few years was a self employed house cleaner. She enjoyed shopping, going to the beach, fishing, playing cards and cooking. She was a Georgia Bulldog fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her three sons, Jeremy Eidson, Daniel (Alicia) Eidson and Stephen Eidson; her soulmate, Johnny Sanford; grandchildren, Brodie and Katherin Eidson, Lauryn Eidson, and a grandson due this April; brothers, Chuck (Cathy) McDonald and Michael McDonald; special cousin, Susie Silver; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at three o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday, November 5, 2017 in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Hufstetler. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family for two hours prior to service time at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will include Patrick Cooney, Kevin Cooney, Derick Mackey, Brent Busby, Rodney Hazelwood, Ronnie Walker.
