Jimmy Lee Caldwell

Mr. Caldwell was born November 15, 1937, the son of the late, Herman Lee and Geneva Volena (Pierce) Caldwell and was a member of Rowland Springs Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Herbert Caldwell and J.W. Caldwell.

Surviving is his wife, Sarah (Dickson) Caldwell of Cartersville, children, Cindy and Russell Pitman of Acworth, Alan Caldwell of Acworth, Patricia and Eddie Campbell of Snellville, Dan and Leann Caldwell of Port Clinton, Ohio, five grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, two sisters and brothers in law, Doris and Bill Close of Winder, Georgia, Arlene and Jim Thomas of Birmingham, Alabama, sister in law, Wanda Caldwell of Knoxville, Tennessee and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Rowland Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Ringwalt officiating.

Burial will follow at Georgia Memorial Cemetery in Marietta.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Mr. Caldwell will lie in state at the church Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time for the service.
