Is it wrong to mourn men who has died? I think not. We should think God that such men lived amongst us. Ken was such a man and I think God I knew him and could call him friend.

Ken  was one of a kind. For a brother-in-law he was best I could ever ask for.  Enjoyed our visits and our talks.  Loved it when you came home to Pennsylvania to visit and the little trips we would take.  I considered you my brother since I didn't have any and the best brother I could ask for. I love you to the moon and back. Fly high my brother and have a good time with  Dad and the rest of the family.  We will look out for Wava.  I know she was the love of your life. I will miss you dearly.  God Bless and keep you till we meet again.

5+ years ago I moved from Canton, MO to Canton, GA .  Transferred my legion, but members in  Post were not friendly and No Honor Guard .  Was just cruising C,ville & saw Post 42, drove up to check it out, was closed, but before we could leave a van pulled up .  It was Ken, greeted us, opened up, gave us 25 cent tour, said Yes,  they had an active Honor Guard, gave me another transfer form, invitation to next meeting, gave Ellen a form for Aux & have been enjoying it ever since

We pray God sends his comfort and peace to all the family and friends.We have some very special memories of our friend of many years.One of the most important ones was the day he called and wanted me to come up to his house one evening,he had some good news he wanted to share.That good news was God had saved him that day in his telephone truck.Never will forget that day we rejoiced together and I had the joy of seeing him Baptized at Zion Hill Baptist Church.Our lives went in different paths when we moved to Ellijay but I believe that friendship lasted throughout his life.When we went to see him at Hospice I believe he knew wh I was and reached his arms up to hug me.God Bless each of you that loved him and all the Southern Bell friends that were family to him.
