

He was proceeded in death by his parents; 3 brothers: Robert (Cartersville), Hollis (Panama City, Fla.), and Ronald Haney (Euharlee); 3 sisters: Lenna Goss (Emerson), Lorene Ferguson (Emerson), and Willie Rae McPherson (Cartersville). He is survived by his wife, Kathie Lynn Ezell Haney (Rydal); 4 children: Kerrie D. Roberson (Cartersville), Mandy N. Nichols (Cartersville), Mason D. Haney (Euharlee), and N. Ashleigh Brannon (Rydal); 11 grandchildren: Dustin Roberson (Cartersville), Megan Wilkey (Kingston), Cody Nichols (White), Holly Nichols (Cartersville), Justin Nichols (Marietta), Jacob Nichols (Cartersville), Samantha Brooks (Cartersville), Tucker and Hollis Haney (Cartersville), Aiden and Evelyn Brannon (Rydal); 4 great-grandchildren: Cohen and Kyndell Roberson (Cartersville), Knox and Finley Wilkey (Kingston); 1 brother, Barry Haney (Adairsville); 1 sister, Patricia Johnsey (Emerson); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kerry was known for his dedication to his family, his community, and his country. He was a graduate of Cass High School; served on the Emerson City Council; was a member of the U.S. Army; founder, instructor, and director of the Emerson Cloggers and the Red Top Mountain Express Cloggers; and was a retiree of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics .

Funeral services and internment will be at Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Church, Hwy. 140 in Rydal, Ga. at 3 PM Sunday, Oct. 3. (Immediate family are requested to arrive at 2:30 Sunday).
