Lois Addison

Mrs. Addison was born on August 23, 1921 in Huntsville, AL, daughter of the late Fred Clark and Docia Murry Clark.

Mrs. Addison was a faithful servant of the Lord and a proud member of the Baptist Faith. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lamar Addison; five sisters and six brothers.

Survivors include her daughters, Norma Ray (Jerry) of Adairsville, GA, Janice White (Bud) of Cartersville, GA and Charlotte Tipton (Danny) of Cartersville, GA; son, Steve Addison of Cartersville, GA; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, October 8, 2015 in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Shook officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Jason and Joe Waznak, Shawn Sharp, Jesse White and Tim McCord.

Visitation will be held from four o’clock in the afternoon until eight on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Owen Funeral Home.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Rev. Phil Shook for his help in officiating the services for Mrs. Addison.
