
Mrs. McIntyre was born September 18, 1924 in Kentucky the daughter of the late Pearle and John McIntyre. She was employed many years at EZ Mills, was a self taught artist and had won several awards for her oil paintings and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Myrtle and Ruby McIntyre and two brothers, Hubert and Will McIntyre.
Surviving are sisters in law, Effie Lou (McIntyre) Brooks and Frances McIntyre both of Cartersville, niece, Tammy Chappell and nieces and caregivers, Brenda Green and Patsy Wilson, nephews, Johnny, Larry and Joey McIntyre, Ricky Brooks, great niece, Bridgett Green Marr, great nephew, Keith Wilson and other great nieces and nephews also survive. A special thanks to Sandy and all the employees and friends at Maple Ridge and thanks to special friend, Martha.
Funeral services will held Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. James Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon from 1:00-5:00 p.m.
