Morris Wells Gilreath

Mr. Gilreath was born June 12 1941 the son of the late, Hugh Lucius Gilreath and Beatrice Nina (Perry) Gilreath, was a Lieutenant with the Bartow County Sheriff’s Department and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Jasmine Nicole Gilreath.

Surviving is his wife Debbie Gilreath of Rydal, son and daughter in law, Anthony and Lynn Gilreath of Adairsville, grandchildren, Justin Brumbelow, Shaun and Christean Brunbelow, Robin Brumbelow, Marley and Jacob Kelley, great grandchildren Lexi, Jacob, Kaily and Kaidence Brumbelow, Cloey and Teegan Kelley, goddaughter, Lillian Bowling a brother, Lucius and Gladys Gilreath, Jr. of Calhoun and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 20, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Keith Guyton officiating.

The family will receive friends at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church following the graveside.

The family will have a private viewing.

Members of the Bartow County Sheriff’s Department will serve as pallbearers.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
