Murl Marvin Silvers

Mr. Silvers was born May 23 1962 in Bartow County, the son of Murl and Mildred Silvers and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Silvers and David Silvers.

Surviving are his parents, sisters, Tammy and Rodney Craig of Adairsville, Gail and Larry Edwards, Vickie and Donald Collum, Brenda and Danny Gossett, Patsy Wilson all of Cartersville, brothers, Dennis and Trish Silvers of Euharlee, Danny and Carol Silvers of Emerson and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. David Baker, Rev. Butch Cole and Rev. Ralph Shook officiating.

Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Matt Gossett, Daniel McIntyre, Michael McIntyre, Eddie Lingerfelt, Scott Edwards, Travis Collum and Johnny Cagle.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
