

Peggy was born on New Years Day in Gadsden, Alabama to the late James Reinhardt and Frances Chitwood Reinhardt. Her parents moved back to Cartersville when she was an infant, where she lived the majority of her life in Bartow County.
She is also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Claude W. Cook and son-in-law, Ron Morrow.
Peggy is survived by her two son's Brian Cook (Debbie) of Fayetteville, GA, Jeff Cook (Jeannie) of Adairsville, GA and daughter, Terrie Morrow of White, GA; grandchildren, Lori Eastin (Jarrett), Jay Paul (Tanya), Chris Cook, Ashley Todd (Evan), Sara McCullough (Zach) and 8 great-grandchildren: Elliott, Ethan, Evan, Harper, Payton, Charlie, Lane and Kaylee. Her brother Gary Reinhardt of Cartersville and three nieces, Amy Williams, Julie Smith, Melissa Rothschild and their families.
Peggy was a 1954 graduate of Cartersville High School. She worked 25 years at the Bartow County Probate Court, where she retired as the Clerk of the Bartow County Probate Court. Prior to her illness she was an active member of Faith Methodist Church where she taught a children's Sunday School class for many years and later worked weekly in the Manna Pantry.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday May 8, 2026, in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Brown officiating. The interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, her grandson's and great-grandson's; Jay Paul, Chris Cook, Jarrett Eastin, Elliott Eastin, Ethan Eastin, Evan Eastin and Payton Paul will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:30 until 2:00.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Faith Methodist Church, Cartersville, GA or the Faith Methodist Church Manna Pantry.
