He had a passion for building classic model cars and airplanes, enjoyed playing golf, and was a Civil War history enthusiast. He loved watching classic war movies and The Andy Griffith Show, and he was a devoted Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Above all, Rick loved and cared deeply for his wife, whom he called his “whole world,” and he treasured his role as “PawPaw,” finding immense joy in the time he spent with his grandchildren.
