Roberta G. Gardner Powell

Mrs. Powell was born May 9, 1950 in Mason County, Kentucky, the daughter of Geneva D. Gardner and the late, William Bruce Gardner and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Surviving is her husband, Paul Powell of Cartersville, daughter and son in law, Robyn and Jeff Rhodes of Taylorsville, son, Sean Powell of Cartersville, grandchildren, Cameron Rhodes and Sydney Rhodes, her mother, Geneva D. Gardner of Cartersville, brother and sister in law, Bill and Laurie Gardner of Maine and a nephew, Brian William Gardner.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memory Gardens with Rev. Mike Morgan officiating.

The family will receive friends at Trinity United Methodist Church Tuesday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Mullinax, Ed Powell, Weldon Phillips, Eric Banta, Harvey Woods, David Martin, Michael Luchtefield and Tim Sharpe.
