Rodney Morris Irvin

Mr. Morris was born November 13, 1961 in Middletown, OH, the son of Ronald Irvin and Phyllis Wells Irvin.

Mr. Morris enjoyed building and fixing anything he could get his hands on. He also had the innate ability to draw anything he looked at. He loved spending his spare time fishing and playing with his grandchildren.

Mr. Morris is preceded in death by his nephew, Jeremy Scott Irvin.

Survivors include his parents; grandmother, Eula Mae Riley of Cartersville; daughters and sons-in-laws, Tangela and Julio Becerra of Rydal and Tabatha and Tyler Gordon of Cartersville; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Randall and Gina Irvin and Wesley and Leslie Irvin, all of Cartersville; brother, Timothy Irvin of Cartersville; grandchildren, Laila and Mahala Gordon, Gabriela Becerra, Axin and Marcos Hernandez, Yanell Bailon and Ulisses Becerra, all of Rydal; four nephews; and one niece.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, June 28, 2013 from the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with the Rev. Forrest Leachman and Rev. Billy Edmondson officiating. Interment will immediately follow from Oak Hill Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Tyler Gordon, Julio Becerra, Ulisses Becerra, Marcos Hernandez, David VanHook, Chris Irvin and Jon Irvin.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 27, 2013 from Owen Funeral Home.
