Mr. Contreras was born September 1, 1955 and was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife, Agustina Contreras, a daughter, Bianca Quezada and her husband Rafael, a son, Salvador Contreras, Jr., his mother, Beatrice Balderas, three grandchildren, Israel Contreras, Samantha Quezada and Salma Quezada, brothers and sisters, Eliazar Contreras, Rosario Contreras, Alvaro Contreras, Manuel Contreras, Maria Guadalupe Contreras and Ana Maria Contreras.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Dan Stack officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m..
