Sandra Ellen Ciangi

Mrs. Ciangi was born June 28, 1943 in Cartersville, where she grew up and attended school. She was a daughter of Edward Ernest Cope and Dollie Mae Smith Cope. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marietta and a retired banker. Sandy loved reading, cooking and doing things for her family.

Survivors include her husband of twenty five years, Robert L. (Bob) Ciangi, her daughter, Debbie Hicks-Gurovich, of Woodstock, three grandchildren, Sarah Hicks, Katie Hicks-White and Jennifer Hicks-Long, two great grandchildren, Wren White and Peyton Long, her mother, Dollie Mae Cope, of Cartersville and her brother and sister in law, Jackie and Kathy Cope, of Cartersville.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 15, 2010 from the Chapel of the Owen Funeral Home with Dr. Sam Matthews officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ken Gurovich, Joe Hicks, Corey Cope, Justin Denham, Jeff Collis and Brian Dabbs.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. Friday.
