Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Eunice Grizzle. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Rev. Sammy Adams; sons, Christopher and Danny Adams; daughters in law; Donna and Kristy Adams; grandchildren, David Heaton, Kevin Adams, AJ Heaton, Ethan Adams, Megan Adams, Caleb Adams, George Adams, Noah Adams, Peyton Slocumb, Hannah Dasher and Brynlee Adams. 14 Great grandchildren. Sister; Ann Brown and Brother; Mike Grizzle.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Center Baptist Church with Rev. David Baker, Rev. Joel Alexander, Rev. Norman Gibbs, Rev. Billy Chambers, Rev. Stacy Nicholson and Rev. Joey Phillips officiating. The interment will follow in Center Baptist Church Cemetery with Brandon Coker, Jerry Baxter, Ricky Bryant, Kevin Adams, Ethan Adams, and Leon McClure serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Owen Funeral Home.
