Steven Dacota Koon

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Hope M. Jewell.

Dacota is survived by his parents James and Miranda; sisters, Gabriella Ledbetter (Cody) and Ashley Koon (Jamal Jasper), and Bayleigh Scott; brothers, Camden Koon (Ansley Chitwood), Jayden Koon, and William Scott; Grandmothers, Darlene Onstott and Debbie Copney; Several aunts and uncles; He loved his nephews most of all, Zaiden Jasper, Zealan Jasper, and Emmett Ledbetter.

Dacota loved the Georgia Bulldogs, he was full of life, and the life of the party. He was member of the JROTC at Cass High School, the Bartow County Challenger League, and Tim Tebow's Night to Shine. Dacota loved being around people but most of all he loved his family. He had a light about him that would just light up the room.

Gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, beginning at 1:00pm with a Celebration of Dacota's Life at 2:00 pm at Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120.
