William was my oldest cousin, I remember him well. He always seemed to have a smile. He was very kind to my parents and I know my mother loved him dearly. Time and distance separated William and me, but he was always a role model for me in my younger days. May God grant him eternal peace and may bless his family in this hour of need.

Uncle William, I loved our conversations, you were such a wealth of knowledge.  I love the fact that you traveled the world and your favorite place was Morocco. What an adventure for a boy growing up in McCaysville.  I also love how it made you so happy to give out bubble gum to little kids.  I think you were as happy as they were.  I'm so glad we got to spend time together.  You will always be loved.

I never knew cousin William that well he was several years older then me .I guess he had already left home before i was a teenager ?? Williams brother Denny and i were the same age and i grew up with Tommy ! I spent many a day with Denny at their home where we grew up in Pantertown.I left home in 1963 in the military and never lived in McCaysville after i was discharged i lost touch with all their family ! Uncle William, I will miss you so much. I couldn't ask for a better uncle. I'll always cherish those long talks we use to have and you taking me fishing in your pond as a kid. Say hello to Aunt Blanche, Mama, and Daddy for me. Until we meet again in Heaven.
