

Fay Honeycutt, 87, of Cary, passed away on February 14, 2024. She was born in Lake View, South Carolina on April 11,1936 to Paul and Blanche Chandler. She was married to Wayne B. Honeycutt for 64 years.
Fay worked as a teacher for Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU); John Robert Powers Modeling School and was a Head Seamstress for Enchanting Moments. She was a member of Triple F, Covenant Group at Cary Presbyterian Church.
Fay had a passion for sewing, traveling, cooking and wedding directing.
She is survived by her husband: Wayne Honeycutt, two sons: Craig Honeycutt and Brent Honeycutt (Sandra); sister: Betty Ann Atkins; brother: Randy Chandler; granddaughter: Samantha (Troy) Dinges; grandson: Stephen Honeycutt; and two great-grandchildren: Mason and Mariah Honeycutt.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Lynn Chandler.
Visitation was held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 6pm-8pm. A Celebration of Life took place on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Cary Presbyterian Church, services began at 1pm. Graveside Service followed at 3pm Graveside Service at Wake Memorial Park.
