

Betty Lee Campbell Hildreth, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away at the age of 77 on Friday, September 15th, 2023, in her home in Cary, North Carolina, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma.
Betty was born to Helen and James Campbell in Greece, New York. She was the cherished middle child and only daughter among her siblings, James Campbell (Virginia) and Raymond Campbell (Kay). Betty's early years were filled with cherished memories of her close-knit family and the joy of playing with the animals on their family farm.
In June 1974, Betty married Robert Hildreth in Brockport, New York. Betty was a woman of remarkable intellect and dedication. She earned degrees in business from Monroe Community College and Rochester Institute of Technology and dedicated 40 years of her life to a fulfilling career at Eastman Kodak Company, predominantly in the field of Human Resources.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Betty had a passion for sewing and quilting, showcasing her creativity through her beautiful creations. She was also deeply committed to her community, generously volunteering her time at her children's schools. Above all, Betty found her greatest joy in being a loving mother and grandmother.
Betty is survived by her four children, K.C. (Neha), Kristin, Jennifer (TJ), and Lindsay, who will always cherish the love and guidance she provided throughout their lives. She was also the beloved grandmother of Trey and Annabel, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
A Celebration of Betty's life will be held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, located at 200 SE Maynard Drive, Cary, NC 27511, on Saturday, November 11th, from 2-5 pm. All who knew and loved Betty are welcome to join her family, share memories, and view photographs that capture the precious moments of her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University Hospital, dedicated to furthering research into treatments for glioblastomas and other brain tumors.
