Beverly Ann Achurch

Born on October 17, 1938, in Pensacola, Florida, Beverly was the daughter of the late Dr. James A. Bell and Evelyn Acosta Bell. She pursued a career in nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse, but ultimately dedicated much of her life to raising her children. Later in her professional journey, she worked as a proofreader at Underwriters Laboratories.

Beverly had a deep love for literature and art, finding immense joy in creating watercolor paintings. Her creativity and artistic spirit were matched by her wit and friendly nature, qualities that endeared her to those who knew her.

She is survived by her sister Mary Evelyn Bell; her son Robert W. Achurch III and his wife Laura Achurch, along with their children Elizabeth Achurch, J. Gibson Achurch, and Mary Margaret Achurch; her daughter Anne R. Achurch Schnatter and her husband Kevin Schnatter, with their children Michael Schnatter and David Schnatter; her son James S. Achurch and his wife Rebecca Achurch, with their son William J. Achurch; and her son William T. Achurch and his wife Amy Achurch, with their daughter Evelyn Achurch.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, located at 200 SE Maynard Rd., Cary, North Carolina, 27511. A reception will follow the service.
