Bo Liang Yao departed this life March 5, 2011. He was born in Shanghai, China in 1916. He fought in World War II in the Nationalist Chinese Airforce. He retired from the Nationalist Chinese Airforce in 1976. He emigrated to the United States in 1982.
He is survived by his wife Pei Ying Yao; 3 sons and 2 daughters, James Yao of Raleigh, William Yao of Cary, Scott Yao of Georgia, Shey Harris of Cary and Shau Ching Sun of Cary; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the funeral home.
