Bruce Chester Dodge

Bruce was born on October 20, 1937, in Lexington, NE, to the late Chester and Marie Miller Dodge. He grew up in Torrington WY, and graduated from The University of Wyoming in 1960. After working as a mechanical engineer for many years he opened his own business, Chester Stamps, in 1988, which he ran until April of 2016.

In addition to his parents, Bruce is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mary Martha Wiggins Dodge (1940-2013).

Bruce is survived by his brother, Larry D. Dodge of Torrington, WY; sister, Nancy Stewart (Howard) of Geneseo, NY; daughter, Katherine Humes (Earl) of Plum Borough, PA, and son Bruce C. Dodge Jr. (Kim) of Florence, SC; Four Grandsons - Benjamin C. Humes of Plum Borough, PA, Richard A. Humes (Sara) of Gainesville, FL; W. Elliott Dodge of Houston, TX; and Bruce C. Dodge III of Florence, SC.

A visitation will beheld on Wednesday, May 18th, 2016, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary.
