Cary, NC - Byrtis Dial Brayboy died November 29, 2011 in her home after a brief illness. She was born on December 6, 1941 in Robeson County, NC to the late Simmie and Carrie Moore Dial. Mrs. Brayboy retired from public school teaching after 32 years. She was a lifelong member of White Plains United Methodist Church in Cary, NC.
She is survived by her husband, Isaac Timothy Brayboy of the home; daughter, Mia Brayboy Pate and husband, Rick Pate of Raleigh, NC; grandson, Timothy Richard Pate of Raleigh, NC; brother, Talford Ray Dial and wife, Betty Thompson Dial of Pembroke, NC.
A funeral service will be held 3:00p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011 at White Plains United Methodist Church, 313 S.E. Maynard Road, Cary, NC. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 S.E. Maynard Road, Cary, NC.
