Carmel Patricia Foliano

Carmel was born September 27, 1949 in Westchester County, NY. She grew up in Eastchester, received her Masters from Fordham, and, in 1973, she married the love of her life, Jay Foliano. Together they raised three children; Ryan, Kristin and Lauren. She was a very dedicated wife and mother, and she was extremely proud of her family and loved being a mom.

Carmel and Jay loved traveling, spending time at the beach together, and being with family and friends whenever possible. Carmel also spent time working as a substitute teacher and volunteered at Catholic Parish outreach and the Handicapped Encounter Christ program. She was an extremely giving and dedicated member of her community. She is survived by her husband and her three children.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30am Thursday, February 15th, 2018 at Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3008 Old Raleigh Road, Apex, NC 27502.

Saturday, February 17th, 10:30am, another mass will be held at Immaculate Conception, 53 Winter Hill Road, Tuckahoe, NY 10707. The family will receive friends immediately following both services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Catholic Parish Outreach, 2013 Raleigh Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27604 and Handicapped Encounter Christ, P.O Box 383 Cary, NC 27512.
