Catherine “Mimi” Padgett

Mimi was born October 4, 1928 in Union, South Carolina to the late Fred & Ola Mills Hall. She retired from Lufkin Tools where she worked as a billing clerk. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Fuquay Varina, N.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean E. Padgett; son, Dean A. Padgett; and her brothers & sisters.

Mimi was the matriarch of our family. She was a true southern lady who gave the best hugs and loved spending time with her family more than anything.

Left to cherish precious memories, daughter, Patti (Robb) Maag; sons, Joe (Margaret) Padgett & Steve (Carolyn) Padgett; daughter-in-law, Gail Padgett; 8 grandchildren, Kim Jones, Heather Johnson, Michelle Padgett, David Padgett, Brian Padgett, Rebecca Maag, Evan Maag & Johnathon Padgett; 12 great grandchildren and a number of nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 10005 Lake Wheeler Rd, Fuquay Varina, NC 27526 with Rev. Rick Carter officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the church.
