So sorry, doreen and Darcy were good friends,  doreen was at our home many many times a lovely girl

Doreen, I cherish our friendship and will never forget all the fun times we had.  We had so many fun times together throughout  the years and I have so many wonderful memories over the years.  The countless hours we cruised the gut in high school.  Our camping trips out to Colorado and Virginia Beach.  Our trips to Washington DC  and the Bahama’s to name a few.   Joe and I will miss our yearly visit to see you on our way to Florida.  I will REALLY  miss our long phone conversations .  You were a wonderful friend to me and I still can’t believe you are really gone.  You will never be forgotten.  May you Rest In Peace.   Until we meet again, I love you.

Doreen always had joyful words for everyone. Her smile will be missed.

Dear Doreen, 

I am quite fortunate to have met Wittney as a teenager during my brief move to North Carolina. Over the years, from adolescence to adulthood, we became close friends. Her warmth, hospitality, and kindness are all qualities that she must have inherited from you; I am certain of this as you hosted me in your home when I celebrated senior prom with Wittney and Natalie. You are and always will be a wonderful mother. I remember you with fond memories and I hold you close to my heart. My deepest condolences to Wittney, her father, and your family members. 

Doreen was a great big sister that cared about everyone and never gave up on people. She willingly took on others problems to ease their pain. Words can't express how much I miss her now.  We shared the love for the beach and ocean so I hope she is now pain free and enjoying a glass of wine by the water. Love you Doreen!
