She was married to James Roy Ford, Jr for 47 years. Doris was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was a member of Boone Trail Baptist Church in Johnson City, Tennessee and The Sheperd's Church in Cary, North Carolina. A few of her passions were cross stitching, playing words with friends along with many other games and puzzles.
In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her husband, James Roy Ford, Jr.
She is survived by her two sons, Jeff Ford (Judy) and Hank Ford; and four grandchildren, Kelsey (Brady), Drew (Lauren), Alex (Kristen) and Matt.
