Glen is never far away: He lives on in our memories and in our hearts.

I always loved Glen's smile and his good heart in caring for others less fortunate. Let good memories  of Glen prevail today.  Let memories of his smile release  joy in all our hearts.

I just learned of Glen’s passing this afternoon. I am so truly saddened and sorry for your loss. Glen was one of the most helpful, honest, and caring business owners I have ever dealt with. 

I could always recommend Brakes Plus to friends knowing that Glen would treat them just as he did with me and my family for so many years. While we never did anything socially, I feel like I lost a friend.  My prayers are with you all and I hope you find comfort in knowing how much so many people trusted and respected him.

Beth and I are so saddened to hear of Glen's passing...he was a truly great guy and we were glad to know him!

Glen cared for his family and helped allot of people in his life and time.

He Struggled through allot of pain and had some very bad times.

I loved him, Glen was more than just a son he was a friend of mine.

When his life was over, Glen had touched the hearts of so many people.

Glen is with our Lord now so I have written this poem about him.

Our favorite and fondest memory of Glen is on his wedding day.  Captured in a moment of joyous elation from which he would eventually emerge a bright, always unconventional, creative, and successful entrepreneur,  Glen stood tall like a ZZ Top “Sharp dressed man” with a devious grin spread widely across his handsome face and a determined expression of a big heart that could conquer the world. This picture of Glen in our minds is one that will remain with us forever.  Eternally now Glen, You are the brightest star in the warm southern skies.

I am so blessed that Glen came into my life. He was definitely a one of kind boss and an even closer friend. I still find myself thinking what would Glen say or do in this situation and I probably always will. As amazing as his family business is, it will never be the same without him. I considered him part of my family and miss him so much.

No one in my life has ever devoted so much time, effort and passion into making me become a better person as Glen did. I wouldn’t be where I am in life today without the many years I was able to spend with him. I was blessed to have known him and will miss him dearly. I am so sorry for the family’s loss. I love you all so much! 

I am so sorry and sad to hear of Glen's passing.  Glen has taken care of me and my family for many,  many years.  I trusted his word and advice with no doubts in my mind.  He always made me feel confident in the decisions we made together on our vehicles.  You do not find a person like Glen too often who was more concerned with the well being of his clients then pushing work on them that was not needed at the time.  He worked on all our cars and when my girls began to drive he made sure everything was safe for them.  In particular this 09 Subaru I bought for my daughter living in Boone that I was having issues with in late July of this year and he took care of me and performed a miracle to get it up and going.  I will miss Glen at Brakes Plus but will definitely continue to bring all our family business there... There are not too many people you can trust in the car repair business and he was the best.  God and Heaven gained a great mechanic and a better person... Rest in Peace my Friend.
