On December 12, 2020, Hamilton Robert Lee, 35, of Cary, North Carolina, unexpectedly lost a long battle with addiction. He grew up in Cary and attended Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. He was funny and kind and enjoyed telling stories about his time on the West Coast and in Hawaii. He loved fishing and camping, riding motorcycles, and restoring classic cars with his dad.
He is predeceased by his father, Gurnie Robert Lee, Jr., and survived by his mother, Rebecca Lee, and sister, Alice Lee of Raleigh. He is the grandson of Carolyn Buffaloe of New Bern and the late William Buffaloe, and paternal grandparents, Gurnie Robert Lee, Sr., and Mary Ann Lee.
A masked and distanced memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 2:00pm at the Hampton Valley Field on Hampton Valley Road, Cary.
