

On March 17, 2024, Hope Rose Studt at the age of 88 years, fell asleep in Jesus. She was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who know her.
Hope was born on January 26, 1936, in Rockford, IL., where she was baptized on May 31, 1936. She later moved to Beloit, WI where she spent her childhood and was confirmed on April 10, 1949, before moving to Janesville, WI where she and her husband Bill raised their family of 5 girls. At the age of 40, she attended Black Hawk Tech in pursuit of becoming a registered nurse, her childhood dream. In 1984 she moved to Cary, NC where she became a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church and went on to work in the Emergency Room at Rex Hospital ending her career at Rex Urgent Care. Throughout her career, she was known for her hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.
But more than anything, Hope was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who always encouraged her family to cultivate their Christian faith and education. She was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges they faced. In her free time, Hope enjoyed sewing and embroidery always eager to share her projects with others and her church. She was an active member of Resurrection Lutheran Church where she attended Christian education classes, served as a Stephen Minister, and was a member of the Board of Lay Ministry.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, William Studt, and parents, Dan and Rose Beese. Hope is survived by her loving children, Patricia (Mark) Shelton, Sandra Kluge, Lauren (Robert) Shoemaker, Kimberly (JT) Hennes, Julianne (William) Easton, and her grandchildren, Evan (Erica) Shelton, Ryan (Leslie) Hennes, Kenny (Leah) Kluge, Whitney (Erik) Dean, Lyndsay Kluge, Ethan Hennes, Corbin (Bianca) Oliver, Aaron Shoemaker, Kendra Shoemaker, and Gracyn Easton. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Grayer, Rowen, Ensley, Caelan, Charlie, Kai, Harper, Gunnar, Aiden, and Elias.
A Celebration of Life in Christ and Victory Over Death for Hope Rose Studt is scheduled at 1:00 PM on April 21, 2024, at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Cary, North Carolina. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Resurrection Lutheran Church at 100 W. Lochmere Dr, Cary, NC 27518.
