To Carolyn, Davie and Jim's family. What great neighbors you were back in the 70's when we lived next door. So very sorry to read about Jim's recent  passing. The picture of Jimmy in his scout uniform really takes us back to when the kids in the neighborhood were all so young.  Simple times back then.  Jimmys dad died  so young too we thought,  and now at the prime of his life, and with such a beautiful family we are saddened  to hear about your son, brother, husband and father.  We are reminded  as Jesus said " I am the resurrection and the life" and when we put faith in him we will be remembered by both he and his father. Tallett family,my condolences to all of you. Iwas shocked to read of Jim's death via the quad city times. Brought back memories of when Jim and his dad Jim and my dad and I were in Indian Guides at the Y together,probably as third graders. Jim and I remained friends through high school,although attending different schools. We kicked off the beginning of that final summer after school with a camping trip to Palisades state park with myself, Jeff Roth,,Dave Howard, and Jim. Still tell stories of that trip. Wish I would have kept in better contact, Jim was a good guy, goes back a long way. Jim's dad Jim did surveying work for my dad back in the day. Again, I am sorry for your loss, I really liked Jim.

While not knowing Jim all that well personally or professionally, I did admire from afar though his tenacity, strength of purpose and commitment to his GSK responsibilities.  I'm sure these and many more positive traits are used by those that knew him well to define him as a person as well.   My heart is breaking for his family given what they are experiencing during this difficult time.
