Jim Triompo, age 72, passed from this life to his eternal home on Friday September 9th 2022 surrounded by close family and those who loved him most. Jim was born and raised in Southington, Connecticut and is the son of Carmelo Joseph Triompo and Elizabeth Berckmoes Triompo. After marrying the love of his life Linda Irene Boley on May 4th, 1974 they moved to Atlanta Georgia to begin their new life together and soon grew their family with the addition of their son Neal Edward Triompo (46) followed by daughter Jaime Elizabeth Triompo (42).
Jim was well respected by all who knew him and enjoyed a 50 year plus career with several companies but most notably ABB, now Hitachi Power Systems. Jim was a loving son, husband, father, Pop/Papa and a friend to many. Words that have often been used to describe Jim are wise, hard-working, courageous, admired, generous, loving, loyal, boisterous and trusting. When Jim was not flying around watching movies on Delta Airlines for ABB (his wife’s words, not his) he enjoyed playing golf especially with his Saturday Group. He had a passion for life, cars, sports and his kids and grandchildren never missing a birthday or special event.
Jim leaves behind a proud family including son Neal (Daughter-in-Law Summer, Granddaughter Sunny and Grandson Saywer) and Daughter Jaime (Son-in-Law Lee, Grandaughter Austin and Grandson Landon).
We cannot thank our family and friends enough for their unwavering love and support, most especially Rosemarie Milo (sister) and Susan Ranson (significant other) during these most difficult and trying times. It’s by God’s Grace and your support we are able to endure these most difficult days in our life. But we also rest in comfort knowing that Jim is reunited with his bride of 38 years in the presence of his Almighty Father and son Jesus.
In lieu of flowers or gifts we would humbly request donations to Transitions LifeCare (www.transitionslifecare.org) a non-profit organization who took such incredible care of our Dad during his final days here on Earth. Words cannot convey our gratitude to the nurses and doctors who cared for him and we are eternally thankful.
A mass will be held 11:00 am Saturday September 24th 2022 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 804 High House Road, Cary, NC 27513. A reception will follow.
