John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Eugenie Weidle of Cary, NC; sons, John Weidle Jr. of Westlake, OH, Bert Weidle (Elizabeth) of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Scott, Nicholas, John III and Tom Weidle; sister, Kate Wasch of Germany.
