John Jeffrey Kuzo

Born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Stanley Kuzo Senior and Helen Kuzo (née Mosgo). He attended Pennsylvania State University and remained an avid fan of the Nittany Lions throughout his life.

John’s favorite hobbies included playing golf, driving cross-country in his RV, tending to his garden, and spending his mornings sipping coffee with his best friend, Jerry (Julia) Brannon. He was loved for his outgoing personality and always being happy to host a get-together for friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Kuzo (née Urquhart); his siblings, Stanley Jr. (Helen) Kuzo and Beverly (Randolph) Peiser; his children, Jennifer (Keith) Rothman-Evans and Jill Kuzo; his step-children, Rachel Bales Gunsby, Kyle (Deanna) Kolski, Tyler (Jen) Kolski, Elaina Kolski, and Blake Pratt; his grandchildren, Shaylee, Raegan, Lydia, and Roman; and seven nieces and nephews.

John will be laid to rest on Saturday, March 8th at 2 pm. The memorial service will be held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary, North Carolina and will be live streamed on the funeral home’s YouTube. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
