She was born the second child of Durwood Lenzie Blackmon and Linda Lee Blackmon in Fayetteville, North Carolina on February 20, 1979.
She is preceded in death by her father, Durwood Lenzie Blackmon and is survived by her loving husband, David Scott Walker; mother, Linda Lee Blackmon; brother, Durwood Blackmon II and his fiancé, Janet Moffitt; several nieces and nehpews; and her five fur-babies.
Kelley was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, School of Nursing. She was registered nurse for 20 years and took great pride in helping others.
Kelley enjoyed world travel, horseback riding, watersports, camping, cinema/movies, live theater and was an avid fan of the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team. She was a passionate animal lover and cared deeply for discarded and forgotten furry family members. Kelley assisted with many animal charities and rescue organizations as a volunteer foster parent.
Due to the current pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
