Kelly Alexander Thompson, 43, of Cary, passed away on December 29, 2016. He was born on September 5, 1973 in Greensboro, NC to William and Charlotte McGinty Thompson. Kelly was preceded in death by his mother Charlotte.
Kelly and Kristin Rooney married in May 2014.
Surviving are Kristin Rooney and his father William “Bill” Thompson.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2016 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
