Kenith "Billy" Rogerson

Billy proudly served our country in the United States Navy after high school. He went on to attend and graduate with a degree from East Carolina University. He worked for over thirty years in the Insurance Services Office before his retirement.

Billy was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church in Cary. He loved going to the beach, cooking out, and spending time with his family, who he loved greatly. He was also a devoted NC State sports fan.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, Jean Denton Rogerson; two children, Kenny Rogerson (Molly) and Betsy Rogerson Harris (Greg); grandchildren, Lauren Harris Sweetman (Dave), Benjamin Brantley Harris (Jenny) and Genna Grace Rogerson; and one great grandson, Jackson Miles Sweetman.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 26, from 2:00-3:00pm at Macedonia United Methodist Church, 2700 Jones Franklin Road, Cary. The service will begin at 3:00pm, followed by burial at the Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Macedonia United Methodist Church.
