Kurt Jonathan Schisler, one day shy of his 76th birthday, passed away on Sunday March 17th, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was the son of Harry and Jeanette (Reisig) Schisler. Kurt is lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Susan Schisler, his four children: Christopher (Joy), Kimberly (Tom), Jonathan (Stacy) and Anthony (Vicky), three siblings: Kaaren (B.C.), Kevin (Mickey), Kyle (Mark), fourteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Kurt Schisler lived his life with strong faith and devotion to his family. He was a man with integrity and kind words. Kurt never met a stranger. His legacy will continue to live on with everyone he knew and loved.
A Memorial Service was held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary, with a reception following. For those unable to attend, a video of the service is available at https://youtu.be/PzRp1ORbdn0
