Lois Crawford Jenny

After graduating from Drexel College in 1955, she married her husband, Alan Robert Jenny. They lived in Pennsylvania and New Jersey before settling in Raleigh where they raised four children; Ray, Alan, Richard, and Marilyn.

Lois worked for the Wake County Census and served as Wake County Republican Women’s President before extending her career into real estate and mortgage lending. Upon retiring, she and Alan spent time traveling through Europe. In her spare time, Lois volunteered in the community and at White Memorial Presbyterian Church where she and Alan were members for many years.

Lois enjoyed quilting, and has passed on many to her children and grandchildren as a legacy of her life. She moved to Glenaire early in 2012 where she continued to be very busy and involved in numerous activities.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Alan and her daughter, Marilyn. She is survived by her three sons and their spouses along with nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Private Family Services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Transitions LifeCare - 250 Hospice Circle - Raleigh, NC 27607.
