Marcus Edwin Craig III

Marcus Edwin Craig III, 52, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024, inside his loving home in Cary, North Carolina. Marcus was born at Franklin General Hospital, Valley Stream, NY to Marcus Edwin Craig II and Sylvia Craig on November 16, 1971.

During his early years growing up in Laurelton, Queens, he spent his time making memories with his childhood friends and his beloved sister, Sherrie Craig Waul. He also enjoyed spending his summers in Birmingham, AL, and West Point, MS with his relatives.

While Marcus attended Jamaica High School and Baruch College, he met many cherished friends and eventually his dearest wife Michele Ramdhanie. From his union with Michele, he had twin daughters whom he loved dearly, Jessica and Melissa Craig.

Marcus pursued a career as a certified public accountant with over twenty-five years of experience in internal and external audit. He also held a CISA certification. During his career, he provided a sense of humor at his workplace.

After spending 35 years in Queens, he moved to North Carolina to foster a warm and loving environment for his family. Everywhere Marcus went, he would spread laughter and joy to those around him. He will forever be remembered for his heroic actions and compassion for others.

Marcus leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Michele; his two daughters, Jessica and Melissa; his sister, Sherrie; his mother, Sylvia Franklin Melton; his aunts, cousins, in-law relatives, and many important friends.
