Patsy was a beloved member of the Swift Creek Community for many years after attending Mars Hill College and then working at NC State University as a Lab and X-Ray Technician for her entire career. She was a long-time member of Macedonia United Methodist Church and helped her husband, Kelly Raygene Crump, with many service and charity projects over the years. Patsy loved her family and the community.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Kelly Raygene Crump and her son, Kevin Raygene Crump. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Van Horne and her husband, Gene Van Horne, and her daughter, Kelly Maria Clarke and her husband, Daniel Clarke. In addition to her granddaughter, Rebecca Lee Phillips, who cared for Patsy the last few years of her life, she is also survived by seven other grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends starting at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 at Montlawn Memorial Park at 2911 S. Wilmington St, Raleigh with a funeral service beginning at 12:00pm. Entombment will immediately follow. The service will be held in the mausoleum at Montlawn.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Transitions LifeCare Hospice Center.
