I tried to call her number today and it was disconnected.  I knew immediately in my heart that something awful happened.  I am so sorry that I didn't see this till now. Robin started as a client but became a good friend.  She had the biggest heart and was always the center of the room!  I will miss her laughter and the wonderful talks we had over the years.  Rest my friend!

Robin will be missed. She had a passion and love for Special Olympics NC and I saw it every time I was the Global Messenger coming to speak to her group. Rest in peace now Robin, you will now be free of pain and cancer. 


We are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Robin, a truly remarkable friend. Her memory will forever be cherished and will be carried in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

💙Such a huge loss...

It doesn't seem possible or real. 

Robin embodied the "can do" and "get it done" mindset. Robin had such a huge and generous heart. What she contributed to the community and to the Club was nothing short of awesome. 

I was surprised and grateful she responded to my texts over these past few weeks and I was able to tell her the things in my heart. 

I know I personally, am grateful for all the care and generosity she personally bestowed upon the Murphey School residents over the years. She was the embodiment of charity, community and care.. 
There will be a silence and an eerie absence from now on.

My deepest condolences to each friend and Civitan. 
It is a huge loss for all.

I was so sorry to hear of Robin's death.   I live in Wimbledon.  I have to pass Robin's house each time I go out and each time I come.  I'm thinking of all the family at this sad time and in the days to come.

The world feels empty today because Robin has left us. Over the years, she gave her time and energy tirelessly to make the world a better place and touched so many lives. 
The seniors living at a local subsidized senior housing  center received food and kitchen supplies every year thanks to Robin’s efforts. Special Olympians benefited from her hard work over the years. Robin worked hard and long to enrich the lives of every one around her in ways too numerous to list here
 We often say that “someone will be missed.”  This so true of Robin. Her passing will leave a huge void in the lives of so many. Her generosity and her work to  help others was incredible. 
My husband and I were so privileged to be her friend. 
We  will cherish her memory forever.

 We might not have stayed in touch as we should have. The years that you and my dad were together. Those times with you taking all those vacations you took us on. To see your family up north and the cruises you took us on. Those are things I will cherish for life. The greatest thing I can say was. You were always there for me. I loved you for that. You always kept it real. I wish we hadn’t lost touch these last few years but I can’t change that now. Please watch over me. I love you Robin (my stepmom). I will miss you RIP!!
