Wanda King Dellinger

Wanda was born June 25, 1925 in Durham to Jack and Flossie Haley King. She was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother. She was also a member of Ephesus Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by both family and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis William Dellinger; brothers, Harley King and John King, Jr.; and sister, Hortense K. Jones.

She is survived by her son, Kirk Dellinger and wife, Diane of Lee County; daughter, Carol D. Collins of Cary; grandchildren; Steve Dellinger and fiancée, Holly Ohayon of St. Louis, MO and Sedrick Dellinger and wife, Bethany of Fairview, NC; great grandchildren, Isaac Dellinger, Avila Dellinger and Lochlan Dellinger; step-grandchildren, Ashlyn Terry and Jansen Terry; sister, Marie Shepherd and husband, Malcolm; nieces, Vickie Holleman and husband, Vic, Sharie Baker and husband, Larry and Faye Hight.

A funeral service will be held 3:00PM Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Ephesus Baptist Church, 6767 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC 27606, with Rev. Greg Templin and Rev. Les Giles officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-2:45PM at the church prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Ephesus Baptist Church Building Fund.
