Lauren was born on August 15, 1988 in Mesa, Arizona. More than anything else in life, Lauren loved being a mother. Her world revolved around her two children. The love she had for her family, especially her nieces and nephews, was ever present. With every family gathering, she made it her goal to be sure all would attend. She grew up in an agricultural family and loved being outdoors. During her summers she worked as a combine driver with her father’s harvest crew, quickly becoming one of the best. She had a great sense of humor with the ability to laugh at herself and her “Lauren-ism’s”.
Lauren graduated from Casa Grande Union High School in 2006. She relocated to Texas in 2010 and completed her degree in interdisciplinary studies, with a focus on sociology and communication, online from Arizona State University in 2011. While living in Texas, she thrived as a leasing agent for Alliance Residential, even receiving the prestigious top leasing agent award for central Texas in 2012. Upon returning to Arizona, she continued her professional journey by working as a bookkeeper in the family business.
Lauren was mother to Callie Jaye Meuth of Red Rock, Texas and Cruz Walker Billingsley of San Tan, Arizona; daughter of John and Gaye Walker of Casa Grande, Arizona; sister to Neil Villarreal (Shannon) of Casa Grande, Arizona, James Walker (Christine) of DeRidder, Louisiana, Jason Walker (Samantha) of Marana, Arizona, and Sally Tryder (Owen) of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Survivors also include aunts and uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.
Celebration of Lauren’s life will be held May 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Southern Baptist Church, 1100 E. Trinity Place, Casa Grande, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Feed My Starving Children (fmsc.org). J. Warren Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
