He was called home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2025, following a tragic motorcycle accident.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, LeLana Fix; his mother, Paula Fix; his children, Danielle, Paul, and Gerard; and his beloved siblings, Kathy Nace, Shelly Griswold, Melany Hunt, Robyn Griswold, Eric Griswold, and Susan Fix. He was a cherished grandfather to Harleigh, who adored him deeply. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack, and his brother, Steve.
Bob lived a full and adventurous life. He was an accomplished race car driver, competing in a wide range of classes—from Sprint Cars and Midgets to Supermodified, NASCAR, and the Indy Light series. A skilled mechanic and dedicated professional, he spent most of his adult life working in the manufacturing industry. Yet above all, Bob’s greatest joy was being a father. He was a devoted and loving parent who took immense pride in his children.
A man of deep faith, Bob found great joy in sharing the Word of God and mentoring others. He served as a chaplain and Bible study teacher with the Christian Motorcycle Association, where he touched countless lives through his guidance and devotion. He also ministered faithfully at Pinal Cowboy Church, joyfully sharing his love for Christ. As a proud member of Truck Stop Ministries and the Men’s Cowboy Coffee group, Bob was always ready to offer support, encouragement, and fellowship to those around him.
Bob was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him. His journey was marked by love, compassion, and an unwavering faith in God. Though his passing leaves a profound void, his legacy of kindness, strength, and joy lives on in the many hearts he touched. We remember him not for how his life ended, but for how he lived—with purpose, laughter, and generosity.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on May 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m at The Pinal Cowboy Church, 18171 W Hopi Dr., Casa Grande, AZ 85122. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be livestreamed and available for viewing at www.pinalcountycowboychurch.com and on the church’s YouTube channel. A reception will follow at J. Warren Funeral Home, 525 N Peart Rd, Casa Grande, AZ 85122.
