

Steven Clifford Clutter, known to many as "Pete," passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, in Casa Grande, Arizona. Born on September 23, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio, Steven led a life marked by dedication, service, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
Steven devoted much of his professional life to law enforcement, retiring with distinction from the Casa Grande Police Department. His commitment to public safety and community service was a defining aspect of his career and earned him respect throughout the community.
Beyond his professional achievements, Steven was an avid golfer and enjoyed camping, traveling, and gardening. These interests provided him with joy and balance, reflecting a lifelong love for nature and exploration.
Steven is survived by his beloved spouse, Sherry Lynn Clutter, who was his steadfast partner in life. He also leaves behind his sister, Janice Weaver, who remains a cherished member of his family. Steven was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Helen Clutter, his sisters Cindy Vance and Cathy Prentice, as well as his brother, Edward Earl "Bud" Clutter II.
Throughout his life, Steven touched the lives of many with his warmth, integrity, and generosity. His legacy will endure in the hearts of those who knew him and in the community he served so faithfully.
A memorial to honor Steven’s life and service will be held in Casa Grande at J Warren Gardens Chapel at 10 AM on April 25th. Steven Clifford Clutter’s memory will be honored by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
