With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara LeBel, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, and friend, who peacefully left us at the age of 92 on July 16th, 2024.
Born on February 13th, 1932, in Salem, MA, Barbara was an enduring example of love, kindness, and grace throughout her extraordinary life.
As a cherished wife to Andy, Barbara shared 65 wonderful years with her only true love. Her devotion to her family and friends was apparent in every aspect of her life. She was a loving mother to Phyllis, David, Tom, Richard, Andre, Barbara, Michael, Scott, and Laurie. Barbara was also a treasured sister to Carol, Mike, and Helen. She spoke often of how much she cherished being a big sister, and always offered praise for her siblings. She was also a very proud grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother to many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Barbara had a passion for bingo, quilting, Hallmark movies, teddy bears, and the Boston Red Sox. And she also loved going to Lake Tahoe and the beach in Coronado, CA.
Throughout her 92 years, Barbara touched many lives with her generosity and kindness. Her spirit and love will always remain in the hearts of those who had the pleasure to know her. She lived her life with grace and will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. May she rest in peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.
