He worked for Shasta Cola company as a Maintenance man and retired after over 25 years, he then worked several other jobs with his final job being with Walmart security for several years. His passion was giving, he had a heart of gold, always giving to non-profit organizations such as St. Jude’s children’s hospital, local first responders fire departments, and his local Yerington Vineyard Fellowship church in Yerington, NV where he resided for many years just prior to moving to Castle Rock, CO.
One thing that he will be remember by all his family for is that he always made it a point to remember everyone’s birthday, anniversary and holiday by sending out a card with a special something in it, I don’t think there is a family member that did not ever received a card from him.
He was preceded in death by his sons Barry LaMonda Jr, and Scott LaMonda.
He is survived by his daughter Rosemarie LaMonda of Roseville, CA, his son Timothy LaMonda and daughter-in-law Paula LaMonda of Castle Rock, CO, and son Jason LaMonda of Manteca, CA. He has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved very much. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him and his family.
