Betty Marie Levesque

Betty was born on March 27, 1938 in Clayton, NM to Enoch and Gladys Biffle. She grew up on the family ranch in Sofia, New Mexico. Betty was the third of four children.

Betty married Maurice (Moe) Levesque on December 21, 1963 in Aurora, Colorado. They were blessed with three children; Christina, Michele and Michael. Betty and Moe moved around for a few years until settling in Northglenn, CO where they raised their family. In 1982, Moe passed away and Betty was widowed at 44 with three children. Betty’s faith and strength was tested as she navigated life without her beloved Moe. Trials and triumphs filled the years after Moe’s passing. Betty worked as a Billing Clerk for many years at Rocky Mountain Bank Note in Lakewood, CO before retiring and moving to Castle Rock, CO in 1997. She then worked part-time at Douglas County school district for several years in Castle Rock and developed lasting friendships. She retired when she was 80 years old.

If you knew Betty, you knew her Grandchildren (Shawn, Emma and Rachel) were her joys in life. Her time with them filled her heart with love, pride and happiness. Also if you knew Betty, you knew of her love for her dog, Apple. Betty loved the Holidays, all of them! Especially Easter and Christmas when her decorations filled her home every year. Her favorite things to do were playing games, going out to eat, picnics and anything that included her family and food!

Betty is survived by her children, Christina Levesque of Larkspur, CO, Michele (Dave) Bachman of Castle Rock, CO, Michael (Danika) Levesque of Lone Tree, CO. Her grandchildren, Shawn Bachman of Lakewood, CO, Emma (Todd) Lawrenz of Colorado Springs, CO, and Rachel Bachman of Fort Collins, CO. Her great-grand children Aaron and Sophie Lawrenz. Her Brother-In-Law, Dave Foster of Tishomingo, MS, and many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Friends, Neighbors, Caregivers and her most loved pet, Apple.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Enoch and Gladys Biffle, her husband of 18 years Maurice Levesque, her father and mother In-law Delphis and Beatrice Levesque, her sister and brother-in-law Cynthia and Bill May, her brother Nathan Biffle, her sister Grace Foster, and nephew Robert Foster.
