Charlene and I became friends about 8 years ago and it was such a meaningful time in our lives.  We were both going through difficult times with our health and I believe that God brought us together for a reason.  We laughed a lot and enjoyed fun outings, yummy lunches, some holidays, and even great trips up to the mountains.  We would share our feelings and tell each other stories of our youth.  Charlene was a true artist.  She was so talented with jewelry making, stitching, pottery and even making special dishes (like her patented cheesecake).  She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother.  She loved spending time with her Grandsons, Mason and Landon.  She was so proud of them.  She truly enjoyed going to their baseball games, taking them on short fishing trips and just spending time with them.  She also loved talking to and visiting with Ashley.  She was so thankful for all of the help that Kristen and Trafton did for her.  She told me that her favorite place in the world was Catalina because she had such nice memories of it in her youth.  I'm sure she is visiting there now.  I was truly blessed to have had her in my life and hope to one day see her again. I will miss her so much until then.
